Governors Ball By Day: June 3rd To June 5th, 2016

So now it is all here, and what do we think? Not bad, Kanye on Sunday to close it out, right? That should be a sellout. An early night on Saturday for sure, who is hanging for the fucking Killers, right? And the last time I saw the Strokes here was the best time I’ve ever seen the Strokes.

Let’s day by day…

Friday: Public Access TB are very good so a definite early start, nd it ends with a real bang: Robyn, Beck, The Strokes. It hits me as you skip Beck and go directly from Robyn to the Strokes.

Saturday: Maybe stargazing will wake you up early to see Sting’s kid Eliot Sumner, but except for Nothing, a straight drag all the way to Against Me! The weakest of the three. And the finishing end? Haim, N83 and finally the Killers? As opposed to Friday’s spoiled for choice. They should have flipped Robyn with Haim and had Beck headline instead of the Killers.

Sunday starts a little later with Fidlar but that Vic Mensa/Vince Staples is the biggest of the weekend, Eagles Of Death Metal will be huge due to their terrible terrorist attack in Paris, I’ll try to make at least some of Chvrches before camping out for Yeez.
