Governors Ball 2021 Line Up For September Is One of Their best

The line up for 2020’s never happen Governors Ball was the worst I’ve ever seen, an embarrassment when compared to the stuff coming out of Coachella, and the only headliner worth your time Missy Elliott (here), but the same can’t be said for 2021 -which, apparently, is happening. September 25th – September 26th.  All three headliners are must sees, Billie Eilish is a huge teen sensation and growing, A$AP Rocky is a legend (as is DaBaby and incredibly he isn’t even headlining), and the Sunday stars Post Malone.

If you go through the list there is so much great stuff, 100 Gecs is a must see, Tate McCrae (I wish Olivia Rodrigo was here), Jamie XX is beyond equally anticipated, I love his solo stuff as much as The XX, J Balvin, Burna Boy -just a terrific line up, I would love to see Burna Boy, I loved his album last year and a great single dropped on Friday, Big Thief, Cordae -the line up is non stop and I swore I wasn’t going to buy more than one day and yet I might just have to spring for a three day pass. This would be a first rate return to live concerts.

Also, I prefer Randalls Island to Citifield, especially if Citifield sticks them in the parking area where everything is concrete and there is nowhere to sit… but Citifield we have from now on.
