If you have been worrying about returning, and not been crazy about the lineup last year, make the pilgrimage to Flushing Meadows for the 2023 lineup of artists which happens to be pretty good. 2022 was not a good year (here), the worst since before Fiona Apple changed the landscape in 2012.

Friday, June 9:
Lizzo – I just saw her at Jingle Ball and won’t wait around but if you haven’t you certainly should
Lil Uzi Vert – go for his audience who adore they and blew the house down last time I saw them here. LUV is better than you think
HAIM – they got on stage past 10pm at MSG -the fools.
Kim Petras – I saw her opening for Troye Silvan at Radio City and she has come up since then, the song with Sam Smith has made her a big star
Joey Bada$$ – Joey is the Rosanne Cash of hip hop, never leaving up to his skillset
070 Shake – a terrific rapper and Ye find with two terrific albums under her belt
Maxo Kream – the great rapper returns

ODESZA – the electronic dance duo faves, I’ll take the Chainsmokers but thanks
Lil Baby – I’ve been gaging to see him for years, this is huge
aespa – I was wondering when K-Pop would make an appearance

Finneas – can he do ANYTHING without his sister?
Kenny Beats – the producer goes solo, the single is great

Black Midi – mathematic UK band, I’ve been trying to catch em for years.
