Goldenvoice has announced another summer festival, the brand new alt-country Palomino Festival, coming for one day only – Saturday, July 9 – to the shady oaks and parkland of Brookside at the Rose Bowl. Goldenvoice has booked the same location for Cruel World (headlined by Morrissey and Bauhaus, Blondie, Devo) on May 15 and Just Like Heaven(headlined by Interpol, Modest Mouse, The Shins, M.I.A.) on May 21. The team behind Stagecoach – California’s country music festival – has created a magical day full of some of the most innovative, authentic, and boundary-pushing talent in country music, folk, pop, bluegrass, and everything in between.

The lineup for the inaugural Palomino fest is:

Kacey Musgraves

Willie Nelson & Family

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit

Turnpike Troubadours

Orville Peck

Old Crow Medicine Show

Valerie June

Charley Crockett

Paul Cauthen

Nikki Lane

Morgan Wade

Sierra Ferrell

Langhorne Slim

Amythyst Kiah

Sierra Hull

Low Cut Connie

Jamie Wyatt

Ian Noe

Logan Ledger

And very special guests The Compton Cowboys

Palomino Festival is described as “a unique addition to an already eclectic collection of Southern California festivals from Goldenvoice.  An experience like no other bringing together newcomers and legends alike, Palomino Festival will appeal to long-time country fans, brand new Americana lovers, and everyone in between.  The musicians playing Palomino Festival are troubadours, trailblazers, and outlaws, from artists like Willie Nelson to Orville Peck to Nikki Lane redefining how country music can look and sound. “

Goldenvoice talent buyer Stacy Vee, who also books the company’s acclaimed, premiere event Stagecoach Festival, says: “It has been a dream for as long as I can remember to do a festival taking a modern, fresh approach to today’s alt-country music. Artists in the space have been pushing boundaries, creating sounds that are brand new. I wanted to fan these flames and celebrate this changing culture. We at Goldenvoice love doing things ‘our own way,’ and there are a lot of artists out there right now doing the same thing. We came together to celebrate carving your own path:  this is Palomino.”

GA passes start at $179 + fees, and VIP passes are $399 + fees.
