Goldenvoice Announces Coachella Sideshows For April 2023
This is this time of the year: Coachella approaches and Goldenvoice has announced a series of April sideshows featuring artists on this year’s Coachella lineup. So if you want to avoid the desert, huge crowds, and over-priced food and lodging, you may jump on the chance to see your favorite artist playing at an intimate venue around Los Angeles. I wouldn’t mind catching Blondie at the Greek! The Linda Lindas are opening once again for a very famous band (the last time they opened for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs at the Hollywood Bowl). These teenage girls, who are also opening for the Breeders earlier in the month, are Goldenvoice’s darlings this year and they sure know how to get the hot tickets. The group Gabriels would also be interesting if the Glass House was closer, and Destroy Boys will certainly annihilate the El Rey Theatre. However, there are tons of bands I am not familiar with, it’s Coachella after all, a Gen Z-curated lineup.
