Wow – Beck – Of course I prefer Beck when he is getting his sound on, the worst thing about this electronic rap track is that it isn’t loud enough, you wish he’d rev it louder, but otherwise it is close to perfect. So, by my reckoning, that make a great show and a great song under his belt this year – A-

Pain – De La Soul – I dismissed this a little the other day, but it sounds better now, the neo-soul beat is delicious and despite my claim otherwise, they get noop about as well as anyone ever will – B+

Talk – DJ Snake, George Maple – Maple is Jess Higgs, a talented woman with a soulful voice she uses to give depth to songs that don’t deserve em, like this one. What happened to this guy? He is to “Turned Down To What” fella, but this is a generic electronic soul song – C

Wona – Mumford And Sons, Baaba Maal, The Very Best – WHy is it that every white guy who records in South Africa sounds like Paul Simon. This sounds more like Paul than does, a very sweet and sweeping beat with a terrific melody – B+

Bacon – Nick Jonas, Ty Dolla $ign – Ty is the sign you wanna be serious hip hop but not too serious hip hop, this is a bore – C

U Are – Paul Oakenfold, Amba Shepherd, BRKLYN – How are the mighty fallen, this is as banal as electronica can possibly ever get – C-

Treat You Better – Shawn Mendes – This could be so bad it is unsavable even by the teen girlie fave guy, just a rotten song. When you hear this, you respect Justin Bieber more – C-
