World Is Mine – A$AP Ferg – Big Sean impresses me more everytime I hear him, this terrific song is from Ferg, it is his chorus, bit Big Sean’s verses are excellent and puts a great song into best of the year territory – A

I Wanna Know – Alesso, Nico & Vinz – Very catchy modern day EDM, but if it hits be aware you will grow to hate it – B

What We Live For – American Authors – This is my go to modern rock band, I dislike them much less than their contemporaries. The first verse, “I drive a beat up car, a caravan, the color blue, reminds me of your eyes and all the places we’ve been through” is so good, you’re disappointed when they blow it at the chorus – B

No Money – Galantis – What you get when you add the guy behind “Toxic” to the man behind “I Love IT” -industrial strength EDM pop, which should fill any dancefloor anywhere and is begging for a ten minute remix – B+

LIghts Come On – Jason Aldean – EDM drums plus country blues equals a dog with fleas – D

Wasted Time – Keith Urban – What is going on with country? Who is programming these drums? – C

Come And See Me (featuring Drake) – PARTYNEXTDOOR, Drake – Very, very typical lost love romance song with a patented Drake vocal – B

Money On Me – Snakehips, Anderson Paak – This is where Anderson is so Anderson he is meta-Anderson. Terrif song – A-

Butterfly – Twin Peaks – Hey, maybe it  is the new Replacements, maybe that’s where they are coming from – B
