It’s You – Zayn – Two for two from the One Direction deserter. The other song was a hot r&b fuse lighter, this is a big beautiful ballad taking full advantage of his upper register – B+

Money Talk – T.I. – First rate T.I. track, the rap is all flow and power and while the sample is a little dowdy it sure does the job. Surprising return to form – B+

Love Me Like That (featuring Carly Rae Jepsen) – The Knock – nyc DJ duo intro their album with bland EDM pop track – C+

Someone Who Can Dance – Icona Pop – Pleasant little dance track, not much but it does the job – B

She Burns – Foy Vance – Not a fan at all (it’s the haircut) but this lo-fi ballad is quite pretty till it gets loud  – B-

Hello Friday – (featuring Jason Derulo) – Flo Rida – So much for the Rida and Derulo are secretly the same person, sorta like Bruce Wayne and Batman except they are both Batman – B-

Work From Home – Fifth Harmony, Ty Dolla Sign – I am not thrilled by either performer, but this is a masterclass on how to integrate rap into a pop song – B

Been To The Moon – Corinne Bailey Rae – We haven’t heard from Corinne in years but her pipes have no rust on them as she delivers this fine r&b with jazz inclinations song.
