ABOUT FETTY LUCIANO

On December 7, 2017, Fetty Luciano, the younger brother of Rowdy Rebel, became a free man after serving more than three years of prison time for conspiracy charges. During his incarceration, the 23-year-old, born Remy Marshall, decided to leave behind his dreams of playing basketball to become a rapper. Just 24 hours after he got out of jail, Fetty went straight to the studio to record songs. As the first member out from GS9, he is determined to carry the torch for the crew and reinvigorate the excitement for The 9’s return.

“We started all this going crazy on beats,” Fetty says. “I’m starting to bring that back. Everybody love Bobby and Rowdy three years ago, and they was loving me too. We gonna take the city by storm and bring that 9 flavor back.”

Now with Def Jam supporting his movement, Fetty is preparing to release a mixtape titled Story to Tell soon. In the meantime, he has released two Rico-produced songs– “On the Wall” featuring an unreleased hook by Shmurda and “FASHO” with Atlanta’s Gunna – to feed the streets and heat up his name. Both showcase Fetty’s ability to adapt to different styles; on “On the Wall,” he’s aggressive and in-your-face. On “FASHO,” he utilizes Auto-Tune as an artistic tool to brag about (what else?) getting to the shmoney.

“I got a story. And I’m hoping y’all feel me,” he says. “I want them to hear my words. Y’all heard Bobby and Rowdy’s story, now hear the same story through my eyes.”
