Elvis Costello Back On The East Coast

From the Elvis Costello fanclub, of which I am a member:

First NYC “Detour” Solo Date, and Imposters Show Announced!

Elvis Costello has just announced two New York City shows this fall! The debut NYC date of his “Detour” solo tour, Saturday, October 1, at the Town Hall, and a concert billed as “Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers” on Sunday, November 6, at the Beacon Theatre, the first full Elvis Costello and The Imposters date in NYC since 2011!

The November 6 event will feature selections from 1982’s “Imperial Bedroom” album with “the songs that led in and out of that velvet-trimmed playhouse.”

Tickets for both of these newly added dates will go on sale Tuesday, 7/19 at 12pm local venue time. 10/01/16 – New York, NY @ Town Hall 11/06/16 – New York, NY @ The Beacon

A Password will be required to access pre-sale concert tickets for these dates.

10/01/16 @ Town Hall Password: Detour 11/06/16 @ The Beacon Password: Imposters

Quite why the Imposters are being used for Imperial bedroom, I can’t say. But my only problem here is that Elvis isn’t playing the entire album. I would go to both nights myself, but on October 1st, I have the Meadows Festival,

Here is the entire East Coast dates, because, as Elvis himself noted at the end of his autobiography, he needs the money:
