“Some of the most fun rap music right now.”

“S3nsi Molly and Lil Brook have a smash hit on their hands”

ABOUT S3NSI MOLLY & LIL BROOK:
The next generation of Dallas-Fort Worth rappers are gaining national prominence in recent years, with S3nsi Molly and Lil Brook, two best friends from Arlington and Dallas, leading the charge for the DF-Dub movement in hip-hop. With artists like Cuban Doll, Asian Doll, Trapboy Freddy and Yella Beezy establishing the scene’s credibility, S3nsi Molly and Lil Brook have risen among the ranks with their “turn up music.” Their chemistry is unspoken and energetic, reinventing the Texas sound by pulling from modern rap tropes – a hard beat, real rhymes, and signature ad-libs. “When you get in the car, you cut it all the way up,” Molly says of their music. “Everybody gonna sing it – no matter who it is. They gonna turn up.”

Although S3nsi Molly, 19, and Lil Brook, 18, have only been rapping for about two years, their collaborations have made local influencers like Gutta TV and rap blogs take notice of their talent. Produced by Beat By Jeff, “223,” a tough-talking hustler’s anthem that features their famous line “five racks then I turn it into 10,” is their most popular song to date, appearing on S3nsi Molly’s In Full Effect mixtape released in May of last year. After the song went viral on Twitter, they quickly put together a video in August that matched the energy of their lyrics. A huge pool party with a ton of girls having fun, the video now has over 1.29M views.

S3nsi Molly and Lil Brook are solo artists first and foremost, and they want to emphasize to their new fans that they aren’t a group. Still, their close friendship has helped create some invigorating street rap with a confident ooze. S3nsi Molly says they met through doing what regular high school teenagers do: party, go to the mall, and attend basketball games. S3nsi Molly went to South Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie while Lil Brook went to Lamar High School in Arlington. They would always see each other at the same hangout spots.

Growing up listening to Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and Chief Keef, Molly worked on her craft by hitting the studio as much as she could, where Lil Brook would tag along too. One day, Molly encouraged her to spit some bars. “They be telling me to rap because I always be in the studio and be sitting there. And then me and Molly made a song,” Brook remembers. From there, they continued to record random songs until a project formed.

While “223” certainly raised their profile, S3nsi Molly and Lil Brook have not missed since, consistently delivering trap bangers with a by-any-means necessary mindset. Their joint effort, DumbShit, is where they bring out the best in each other, especially on highlighted tracks “Texas,” “Freestyle,” “2 Glocks,” and “Stu Shit.” “We are friends to each other, but we are gonna push each other too. And we go hard together. Our voices just go good together,” Molly says.
