Dappy Of N Dubz Is Not Black And Used The “N” Word… Now Read On

One of these men are white

“If the word N*gga means black to you then your Racist. [We took that word and made it our own to piss off the racists!” Dappy, the white rapper member of N Dubz, a pretty darn good rap-dance trio, who have been on hiatus since 2011 but have always been a fun guy.

Needless to say, the world was not amused: “I swear Dappy’s Greek and Oyinbo. LOL. He has absolutely no say in this topic”. The question is, who gets to use the N Word? And the answer is, black people with a bt. And the but is the Lenny Kravit conundrum, if you use words like “nigga”, “faggot’ etc, do you take the sting out of them.

Five years ago I wrote about how “n” should be let into the mainstream, we are all hip hop fans, how can we sing ‘ain’t no n word like the one I got…” it doesn’t sound right.

I had this concept whereby instead of saying n we said the j word: jerkie. “Ain’t no jerkie like the one I got”? Cool, and how about this? “Jerkie wha’? Ain’t no jerkie who can jerk with me…” Cool? But it didn’t stick…

As for Dappy, the right revolution but the wrong color to run with it…
