Coming Up: New Albums By Radiohead And PJ Harvey On The Horizon
I know you’ve been waiting for this one. After selling off tickets to watch PJ Harvey record her upcoming album The Hope Six Demolition Project, here comes the real thing this April 15th, 2016. The bubbly head down definition of all things wise and wonderful, Let England Shake, count em five years ago, brought the UK to its knees though still one step ahead of an art installation over here.
The video below, a teaser for the album, sounds terrific to these ears. It bops along in fields of green and power, the verses purely addictive, the chorus less so but what did you expect?
Meanwhile, Radiohead are gonna be playing their new album on tour according Brooklynvegan.com: “Radiohead were announced today as one of the Primavera Sound headliners, and we knew they have a new album on the way, and now all that news just got even more exciting. The festival’s press release announces the band’s set by calling it: “The presentation of the new album by the British band Radiohead.”
