Cobain’s hair

On Julien’s Auctions website, ‘the auction house to the stars’, you can bid on all kinds of items who have belong to famous stars from Michael Jackson to Elvis Presley, but there is an item which is particularly creepy, Kurt Cobain’s lock of hair… estimated at $8,000-10,000! This is the description

‘A lock of Kurt Cobain’s hair given to doll maker and comic artist Dame Darcy by Courtney Love. In a comic book style letter of authenticity, Darcy explains that in the 1990s she sold her handmade dolls in the back of her comic book Meat Cake. Love became a client and commissioned a doll for her daughter Frances using Cobain’s hair. This lock was the hair that remained once the doll was made. Accompanied by both a black and white and inked copy of the letter of authenticity…. Hair length, approximately 10 inches’

Is it too much information at once? Not only a piece of Cobain is on sale but Courtney Love had given this lock of hair to make a doll for her daughter… how creepy can you go? Imagine a 3-year-old girl playing with a doll whose hair is her dead father’s? According to some extremely weird videos found on Youtube, and a comment left by Dame Darcy herself, doll crafting with Darcy and Courtney Love was filmed in 1997, so a few years after Kurt’s death,… in other words, Kurt had become a craft project at this point.

According to what was reported, Courtney Love clipped a lock of Cobain’s blond hair when his body was found on April 1994, so could it be this lock of hair?
