Bruce Springsteen Adds Two Nights At Metlife: But Will He Still be Performing “The River”
I caught Bruce twice earlier this year, once in February and once I March at MSG, performing The River. Did I like it ? Sure I did, loved it the first time, less so the second but even so… But will I go to Metlife on August 23rd and August 24th? A good question and it depends on whether he decides to shelve the River and perform a greatest hits set.
My guess is he will, it is business as usual for Bruce to tour theatres in the winder with the latest album and Arena and sheds in the summer where he hits the hits.
Certainly, with Bruce gearing up for a solo run, this August could be our last E Street sighting for five years… which would make Bruce 72 years old… which is, well, a little old for the pace he keeps.
