Aaron Boone Returns As The Yankees Manager: The Yankees are the greatest franchise in the world, besides maybe United or Barcelona, but they aren’t the greatest team in the world. They are a bad team with a huge budget, Yankees spend $202M a year, Tampa Bay? $70.85M. This is on management, to spend that much money on a team being run by analytic robots is unforgivable. If Boone would just follow his gut, well even if he lost his record is such that maybe you get it: 328 – 218 is impressive enough. But he is a pussy, and he loses in bad ways with an under performing buncha guys where only Aaron Judge stands out. And in the postseason his record is 11-11. That’s the definition of sucking when it matters most. The Yanks should have dumped Boone and Cashman, and figured out a way to successfully spend their money.
ALCS: Red Sox are falling apart over the past two blow outs to the Astros, it is now 3-2 with Astros a win away. I hate both teams, the thieving Astros stole a World Championship from the Yanks… but I HATE the Red Sox. Yesterday, the Astros went to Fenway and shut the Red Sox fans up… so thanks for that.
Chapelle And The Transgendered Community: Why would Chapelle focus his ire on the weakest members of a society. What does he prove? Why would he do it? Because transgendered, non-binary people are given special attention compared to blacks? What nonsense. More than half of transgender male teens who participated in a 2015 survey reported attempting suicide in their lifetime, while 29.9 percent of transgender female teens said they attempted suicide. Among non-binary youth, 41.8 percent of respondents stated that they had attempted suicide at some point in their lives. Is that who Chapelle wants to put in their place? With all the things to stand against, non-binary people is where he decided to plant his flag? I support the LGBTQ community on this one, despite being a Chapelle fan, and not a fan of cancel culture, I would hope to never be on the side of people who oppress those among us who are damaged by society. By the way, Chapelle is wrong: gender is not a synonym for sex: Gender is clearly culture based.

Hannah Gadsby 2: I’ve watched both of the specials on Netflix and if Dave is better it’s only a question of degree. “Nanette”(Grade: A) is a masterpiece, “Douglas” (Grade: B+) not so much…
Concerts: I’ve been slowly but certainly increasing my intake. I already have my Jingle Ball ticket and this weekend I have Meek Mill (yes, I’m not a huge fan… but it sounds very cool as he performs his “B” new album in its entirety… and the prices are discounted), and The Monk(ees) on Sunday.
