About Live Nation’s $25 Ticket…

At first glance this looks exciting, but after a closer look it is possible this is no deal for New York unless you want to go to to Jones Beach and if you want to go Jones Beach you can get them even cheaper from Goldstar. It might work in Utah but in nyc… Well, let’s try..

Cheap Trick – NYCB Westbury – TM cheapest price without the Livenation promotion: $27, and with it? The exact same

Clutch At Paramount – Floor seats available at the promotion rate

Hunter Hayes at Gramercy Theatre – sold out of promotion

Beach Bunny, PUP at Pier 17 – Promotion sold out

Seal At Beacon Theatre – despite their being maybe 1000 tickets left, there are none for the promotion

Hayley Kiyoko at Irving Plaza – zero promotion prices

Kevin Hart at Forest Hills -despite being nowhere near sold out, zero promotional prices

Bryan Adams at MSG – despite thousands of tickets still on sale, none at the promotional price

Afrobeats Reggae Festival at Coney Island Amphitheatre – this one really hurts, I would’ve have gone at $25 and their are huge swathes of unsold tickets. But at the promotion price? Not as such.

The Rocket Summer at Gramercy Theatre – TM price (including service charge): $27, Promotion: $25… take your $2 and buy a third of a hotdog

LL COOL J & The Roots – Barclays and Prudential – nope

Sampa The Great At Irving Please – they shoot, they score, $25 tix and a saving of $7 a tix

Elvis Costello at Beacon theatre – not a sausage

The moment the $25 tix became available I tried for LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, and Wizkid and they were gone although the venue was wide open for all three.

So after going through all the ones I wanted or didnt want, I could find nothing a reasonable person would bother with.
