– Miss Right – Anderson Paak – Paak just came into the world’s view with six tracks on Dre’s newbie and followed it with the two best tracks on the new The Game. His band NxWOrries are excellent neo soul, and this neo-jip jop post Kendrick is pretty good as he goes searching for a love sensation – B+
– Momma – Kendrick Lamar – That Lamar tone on the verses is sounding like a cliche, but it is so fresh a sound, it isn’t really and anyway, the shake up here is the jazz track back and twistering flow – B+
– As You Are – The Weeknd – In search of a deep album track, and it is still significant neo-soul – B+
– Pray 4 Love – Travis Scott, The Weeknd – I get the impression that the intro isn’t what Scott took from Kanye but what Kanye took from Scott – B+
– I Live For You – George Harrison – The twang sounds like country but the voice sounds like George the classicist – B+
– Necessary – Jay Rock – Another rapper outta Cali projects, this is vicious hard rap – B
– Transfiguration – Hillsong Worship – There is no excuse for this surreally lame excursion into a terrific part of the gospels -once heard it can’t be unheard. Every time Hillsong Worship release a song,a devil gets its horns – F
– Faded Blue – D.A. Wallach – Brutally bad singer songwriter businessman – C-
– Waitin For You – Demi Lovato, Sirah – Don’t know why they dropped the “g” -I would assume illiteracy – C-
– Every Night – Paul McCartney – Why Sir Paul chose to add a 1979 live in Glasgow version from 1979 is beyond me… I mean, 71, 72, I could see – C+
