– Heard Em Say – Leikeli47 – This is my big song of the moment, I love the chorus, it is a magical hook fest of mammoth proportions and a self-help manual , telling you that the only way to do it, is to do it – A

–It Might As Well Rain Until September – Bobby Vee – The first Goffin-King masterstroke, is a sad sorry hold on close – A+

– Eddie Vedder – Local H – “as good as dead” is the way to express a break up – A

– Les Silences – Fallujah – Manages to be simultaneously low and loud – B+

– Addiction – Freeway – A terrific rapper near the peak of his skills after all these years – A-

– Joke/Rope – Haybaby – My fave Goth doom and gloom rocker of the day – B+

– Mom – Meghan Trainor – You might have a mom? You undoubtedly do have a Mom – C+

– Day Ones – Bauuer, Novelist, Leikeli47 – A more brutal sound than the rest of the album, this is hard strident beats plus tag you’re it rap – B+

– Dear Future Husband – Meghan Trainor – Her masterpiece, a song of female empowerment that actually has a point. I mean, why disagree? – A

– You’ve Got A Friend – Carole King – This is as big a song as “Happy Birthday To You” (well, almost), a sublime call of the heart – A+
