1 – Learn In School – Muncie Girls – Old school sounding punk, all tune and chord changes, they claim to be self-aware young adults from the UK -let’s hope not – B+

2 – Good Lava – Esperanza Spalding – ABout as close to catchy as she gets , sound like a jazzy Dirty Projectors in experimental  mode – B+

3 –  Departure – Thao And The Get Down Stay Down – Quirk sounding but very very catchy – B+

4 – NO – Meghan Trainor – I’ll tell you when this reaches the top of the Hot 100 – B+

5 – I Can See For Miles – The Who – Highlight of their show last week (still getting around to a think piece on it) – A+

6 – The Big Country – Talking Heads – Yes, the debate remains as to how ironic he was being. Me? I assume he wouldn’t live on a farm if you paid him. And I know I wouldn’t.

7 – Came Here To Forget – Blake Shelton – Dowdy crappola happy to cash in on personal misery – C

8 – Kiss This – The Struts – If only these guys were good it would be so cool – C

9 – Posture – Big Ups – Speak sing dreariness enervated with yells – C-

10 – U Wear It Well – RuPaul – This was disco, not good disco mind – C-
