– Who Knows Where The Time Goes – Fairport Convention – Gone too soon, but here Sandy watches the hourglass in a beautiful folk study of the inevitability of time -something that doesn’t particularly exist! – A+

– The Queen Of Swans – Mercury Rev – Gorgeous first track off their newbie -the rest isn’t quite as good – A

– Player – Tinashe, Chris Brown – Soulful voice and the beat is generic but none the worse for it… lyrically cmon guys, a little effort here – B

– Antidote – Travis Scott – I love this guys sound, this is  gorgeous mix of beat and melody just below the surface – A

– Walking The Floor Over You – Sandy Denny, Richard Thompson – Cute litle rocker – B

–  Stray Dog – New Order – Oh, get on with it… geez – C

– Lose The Right – The Dead Weather – Another terrible song by another terrible band – C-

– Bad Omens – Kurt Vile – Apparently he pronounces it Weil though he still sounds awful on this instrumental  – D

– Love Overdue – Keith Richard – He missed his calling, he should have recorded an album of lover’s rock obscurities – A

– John Wayne Gacy,  Jr – Sufjan Stevens – One of the most important songs of the 21st century – A+
