1 – Die Young – Chinx – Chinx all too prescient epitaph is a haunting nightmare of a song made all the deeper just to his early passing, one of the best songs of the year with a gorgeous piano melody already bidding him goodbye – A

2 – Soldier Blue – Richard Lloyd – Antiwar tirade, thumps nicely with a great solo in the middle – B+

3 – All Your Fault – Big Sean – Kanye West sounds good but Big Sean throws in one of his best raps to date – A

4 – The Last Time – The Rolling Stones – That lick is one in a million -it is the equal of “Satisfaction” – A+

5 – Live This Life – Big Sean, The-Dream – He admits to rapping along to Biggie in his bedroom, and you can hear it – A

6 – Melo – Lil Snup – This is a terrific reminder that the kid was the real deal – A-

7 – All Eyes On You – Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj – Excellent r&b track – B+

8 – To The End – Blur – This survives as a sort of French chanson by other means – A

9 – R.I.C.O – Meek Mill, Drake – love dem beats – A-

10 – Hello – Adele – Hey, two days and I am still listening. Helen Bach is threatening me with an intervention – B+
