– March Madness – Future – This is last year’s song, the one Future performed on SNL on Saturday and it sounds magical, it has the force of rock and roll, and the attitude of pure cool, all noise effects surrounding one long hook. No idea how I missed this last year -it is all hoop – A
– Last Seen Alive – Chin Of Britain – Very impressive drums and the song hooks in well after awhile – B+
– Twentynine Palms – Carter Tanton, Sharon Von Etten – Simple sing songwriter stuff, sounds a little like Crosby, Stills And Nash without the harmonies – B
– Housewives – Bas – “wilding but maintaining” Bas claims, but is it true? This is low key but the rapping pulls it through – B
– Something Helpful – Anna Meredith – Prettier than you’d think from this electronic inspired singer composer – B-
– Once – Anenon – Cymbal wilding to open, but orchestrates its waya round it – C+
– Firewalking – Adult Books – Somewhat blah electronic rock – C
– Bounce – 2 Chainz And Lil Wayne – A hit off the newbie – B+
– Backroad Song – Granger Smith – Beyond obvious, this is the sort of crap Chris Stapleton writes for Darius Rucker – C-
– Time Won’t Wait – M. Ward – Catchy one – B+
