– Bad Idea – Sara Bareilles, Jason Mraz – A very funny song about infidelity, “let’s just keep coming till we come too”,. How bad an idea is it? She’s pregnant. A jokey good natured little rocker and despite a lame middle eight, it wins through on good nature – A
– Taxi Cab – Tracey Thorn – A great Vampire Weekend song about the price of romance and privilege , Tracy nails it completely. The change on sex works better than it should – A

– Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) – KDA, Tinie Tempah, Katy B – House track dance track, Tinie is really good and Katy B is back on her game after her disappointing second album – B+

– Oh, The Divorces! – Tracey Thorn – It belongs in the middle of a Sondheim musical -all exposition – A-
– Visionary – Farruko – Album opener, a touch laid back – B+
– Sprained Ankle – Julien Baker – Singer songwriter confessional obsessed with death, though the backing track is very good – A-
– Blame – Calvin Harris, John Newman – Love Newman’s voice but we’ve been here once too often – B-
