Comment: This is the second consecutive week with no new albums in the top ten, and worse, the numbers are terrible. I thought the album chart was volatile and it was the single chart that was slow as molasses. At least one thing appears clear, Morgan’s ongoing success after a friendly, and drunken, use of the n word got him cancelled, isn’t an angry reaction. His continuing success is far more to do a huge double album and less a Red states country fans stamp their little feet. Otherwise, numbers are way down across the board, in comparison: this week’s TOP FIVE ALBUMS IN THE UK, were all new. PS: whatever happened to Foo Fighters?
