Comment: All charts look like this, a mix of US and local. But the UK chart looks a bit more than most because UK acts can crossover in the US. Except, Grime. Grime is a serious form of rap that has been around since the early 00s and that, despite both Kanye West and Drake’s efforts, never quite caught on in the States. It is all over the UK charts (pace Headie On here and Stormzy at # 1 with Ed SHeeran on the singles charts). Lover isn’t bad, everything goes up and down in this life so that might explain it not being great, or Taylor has peaked but haven’t we all?
