Comment: Paul Heaton may well be a great songwriter, undoubtedly so with Marist Christian the Housemartins and better living through booze The Beautiful South (at the Supper Club in August 1999, the band’s big US debut, Paul was very hungover), but whether time or age had caught up with him his work with Souther Jacqui Abbott has been consistently disappointing.Still, congratulations on reaching #1!
