Comment: What does the UK album charts actually mean in terms of sales? If every week finds five new entries in the top five, it would appear to mean nothing much. I thought that Ed’s Album kinda did nothing much, and it did nothing much compared to Divide… but compared to everybody else? It is huge. It is, in fact, still here. Post Malone, Lewis Capaldi, and Ed remain, the other seven don’t reflect much of anything. ELO? Big whoop…
