All That Remains – Victim Of The New Disease

Anal Trump –  The First 100 Songs

Architects – Holy Hell

Ashley Tisdale – Voices in My Head – The Disney child star is 33…

Charles Bradley  – Black Velvet – Posthumous release

Cupcakke –  Eden – Her last album has been on my top 20 of the year since February

Fleet Foxes – First Collection: 2006-2009 – Before the flood

Hanson – String Theory

Imagine Dragons –  Origins – They were good on stage and “Machine” s an excellent single.

J Mascis – Elastic Days – Every song released so far has been first rate

Jeff Goldblum The Capitol Studios Sessions – Yes, that one… doing the great American Songbook of course, but as pianist and band leader. At least he isn’t singing.

Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers  – Bought To Rot – Hasn’t lost a step as a primary purveyor of punk pop

Lil Peep – Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 2 – We may never know how huge a loss this was, and since Part Two was recorded at the time as Part One the chances are excellent this won’t tell us. There are more recent songs recorded with ILOVEMAKONNEN, and I hear those are the directions Lil Peep was heading in. So if what we are getting is PArt Two, count me in – MOST ANTICIPATED OF THE WEEK

Mark Knopfler – Down The Road Wherever – Did you realize his August 20th gig at the Beacon is nearly sold out… $160… I just took a look at his setlist: that’s a lot to pay to hear “Sultans Of Swing”… mabe enough if he did any of his “Local Hero” soundtrack… The song ain’t bad…

Muse – Simulation Theory

Old Wounds – Glow

Olly Murs  – You Know I Know – The UK cheeky chappy

Rhett Miller – The Messenger – He hasn’t done a great album since 2014, but he tends to be good for a song or two.

Sarah Brightman – Hymn – The title track is mammoth

Sheryl Crow – Live at the Capitol Theatre – 2017 Be Myself Tour –  Seriously?

Steve Aoki – Neon Future III

The Men – Hated: 2008-2011

Too $hort – The Pimp Tape – LAs legendary rapper
