British Murder Boys – Fire in the Still Air – techno guys with their first album in five years -really, really good house. This is what is missing from EDM.

Broods –  Don’t Feed The Pop Monster – Electronic popsters, this should be good.

Cassadee Pope – Stages – Big time country pop

Deer Tick – Mayonnaise – Part of that turn of the last decade indie Americana scene, and not bad at it either.

Girlpool- What Chaos Is Imaginary – Electronic duo, moods for moderns.

Guided By Voices – Zeppelin Over China – Best band I’ve ever hated…

Le Butcherettes bi/MENTAL

Rustin Man – Drift Code [Talk Talk’s Paul Webb project]

The Specials – Encore – OK, they have no choice when it comes to Rico Rodriguez, but no Jerry Dammers?

Within Temptation – Resist

Beirut – Gallipoli

Cherry Glazerr – Stuffed & Ready – They broke through last year, now let’s see what they do with it…

Luis Fonsi – Vida – Twenty years after the Latin popster from Puerto Rico broke through and five years after his last album, “Despacito” happened and changed the face of modern pop once more, here comes the post-superstardom Fonsi. So the stakes couldn’t be higher and while the first single “Sola” was too poppy for me, this album should be mammoth and for Fonsi the stakes are high – MOST ANTICIPATED OF THE WEEK

Metallica – Helping Hands… Live & Acoustic At The Masonic

Spielbergs – This Is Not the End – Debut album, haunted indie
