Peaches N Cream – Snoop Dogg – The first song off his eagerly anticipated collaboration with Pharrell is a Parliament/Funkadelic soundalike plus Snoop rap, and what is wrong with that? Nothing, but it isn’t exactly a shocker either and the heart of the song is a bland everyman modern hip hop veneer on a nothing special track – C+

Want To Want Me – Jason Derulo – It sure ain’t “Trumpets” and it sure ain’t so much more tha plecs and a hook, but it is still a hook and the song as a catchy gotcha about it – B

The Ghost Of Beverly Drive – I haven’t much liked em since the lousy Codes And Keys, a tiresome gig at Radio City turned the tide, and then, going back and listening to what I had liked at first I realized I hadn’t actually liked anything very much. I don’t like this either – C

The World Ender – Lord Heron – Bad news, “Fool For Love” was a fluke –C

Give Me A Try – The Wombats – Or is it the Kooks? – C
