New Level – A$AP Ferg, Future – Future is the most overrated rapper around, terrible on stage though thrilling on his Drake shared mixtape, his gruff voice and sub-Gucci attitudinizing can get old. A$AP Ferg is still not quite where he needs to be, though he sounds as though he might be. Always Strive And Prosper needed to be substantially better. Still, if all it takes is one song, this is a terrific one, with a killer hook that the duo tie down with rope – B+

Serenade In G Major: Night Music K 525 Allegro – Andrew Manze – Hard to go wrong with this sucker, one of those composition that fits into the central faith in Western Civilization. – A+

L$D – A$AP Rocky – His best work (except maybe “1 Train”), that bass part throbs in horny tumescence – A

To Be Without You – Ryan Adams – This is the Neil Young track, there is also a Bruce and a Tom Petty one… – A

Safe And Sound – Jackie Evancho – This song, off the Hunger Games soundtrack, was one of Taylor Swift’s masterpieces, a great lost song with Taylor and the late great Civil Wars -it is the essence of what Americana would be if Americana was and a road not taken by Taylor Swift. The sixteen year old Jackie performs a lovely version, not as good as the original but honest and stirring – A-

Running To Stand Still – U2 – Just in case you were thinking it was gonna be all fun and games, try this pretty piece of depression  – B+
