Praise for Ms Nina:

“hard-hitting and languid at the same time…Her assertive, sex-positive lyrical content also places her alongside the many women in neoperreo taking the reins from men, who have long dominated genres like reggaeton” – The FADER

“Nina plays with the blissfully crude, marrying lowbrow internet culture with fiercely sexual lyrics reminiscent of Ivy Queen’s pro-perra vision of the club” – Remezcla

“As Latin urban music connects to a global streaming audience, NeoPerreo emerges as an anchor to a young, digitally-empowered demographic embracing new acts, music and a rainbow of diverse fans.” – Billboard

“one of the most recognized faces of the perreo movement in Spain” – Boiler Room

After a steady stream of singles and collaborations, Spain via Argentina Neoperreo queen Ms Nina has announced her debut mixtape Perreando por Fuera, Llorando por Dentro, out July 3rd via Mad Decent. Originally premiering Wednesday evening on Spanish late-night talk show “La Resistencia,” watch the video for lead single Te Doy,” produced by Latin GRAMMY-nominated artist El Licenciado, HERE and stream on DSPs HERE.

Ms Nina is embarking on an international tour with multiple U.S. dates including two New York dates with Bad Gyal (7/12 @ Elsewhere and 7/13 @ MoMA PS1 Warm Up), a Los Angeles headline show (8/29 @ The Roxy), and more. Full itinerary and more information below.

For those who are just discovering the artist, Ms Nina is an ambassador and icon of tolerance and diversity, and lauded as a key figure of Neoperreo; a musical and cultural movement that is spreading across the world which has been described as “Reggaeton’s weird and wonderful new chapter” (Remezcla), “Reggaeton’s freakiest offshoot” (The FADER) and “Reggaeton’s Digital Underground” (Rolling Stone), or, as Ms Ninaputs it: “It’s about including everyone who loves Latin music and wants to feel the freedom of being themselves.”

With Perreando por Fuera, Llorando por Dentro (which roughly translates to ‘Twerking/Grinding on the Outside, Crying on the Inside’ — ‘perreo’ being a provocative reggaeton dance), Ms Nina explores different genres including romantic reggaeton, Dembow, favela funk (or baile funk), and more through a post-internet lens. Featuring collaborations with key figures from the scene such as La Favi, Maria Escarmiento, and productions by El Licenciado (Latin GRAMMY nominee and former member of GRAMMY-winning Mexican band Kinky), Mygal X, Beauty Brain, King Doudou, Chaboi, among others, Ms Nina turns down the misogynist speech from the older reggaeton hits and amplifies the voice of the female figure free of prejudices, stereotypes and imperatives. With this freedom, Ms Nina presents her debut mixtape and leaves intact its premise: self-love.

Ms Nina has been featured in Billboard, The FADER, PAPER Magazine, Remezcla, Playboy México, and more, has millions of streams across her limited single output on Spotify including multiple #1 spots in Spain, and has been supported by artists including Rosalia, Pabllo Vittar, C. Tangana, and more.
