Kanye West (Yes Again) Has A Problem With People Sitting At His Shows

Show stopper Kanye

Oh I love to tease Kanye West, and I am almost sure this story was a bit exaggerated, although you never know with Kanye, he is kind of a douchebag in my world, but the story is funny nevertheless. During his Melbourne show on Wednesday, Kanye asked fans to stand up ‘unless y’all sitting down because y’all handicapped.’ Nice to hear, if there effectively were some handicapped persons attending the concert…

But during his concert in Sydney on Friday night, his attitude reached a new height: Kanye stopped the show at at Qantas Credit Union Arena when two seated fans wouldn’t get up, because, well, this time they were in wheelchairs.

The Daily Mail Australia reported that Kanye refused to perform until the crowd were on their feet, saying, ‘I can’t do this song, I can’t do this show until everybody stand up.’… ‘Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t.

And Kanye insisted and  insisted: ‘Imma see you if you ain’t standing up, believe me, I’m very good at that.’

Does it ever cross his mind that some people can be really handicapped? A concertgoer waved a prosthetic limb, and the rapper answered ‘Okay, you fine!’

You fine? This is hilarious and pathetic that the guy had to go to this length to get the approval of the rapper. But it wasn’t over, another fan remained seated, and Kanye stopped the song and said:

‘This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song, it’s unbelievable,’

And he sent bodyguard Pascal Duvier into the arena to check whether the person was in fact in a wheelchair!! Unbelievable Kanye? Your stupid behavior is indeed unbelievable.

A witness declared: ‘The crowd was also yelling that he was in a wheelchair but he waited for Pascal’s confirmation’ while other witnesses said the crowd made ‘wheelchair motions’ to alert the singer to his mistake. But Kanye replied ‘He is in a wheelchair? It’s fine!’

That was sooooo out of line, sending a bodyguard to check if the fan was really in a wheelchair? It is close to harassment or attack on freedom! Anyway, wheelchair or not, handicapped or not, why should we stand up at a Kanye West concert? What if people are tired? They have the right to sit down right? It’s not as if he was making dance music, it’s rap and this story is beyond ridiculous, just like Kanye’s emperor-size ego. And with this ‘stand up and walk/dance’ new meme, I think he is pushing his Yeezus complex a bit too far.
