Coachella organizers, as known as Goldenvoice, have announced a new music festival, Just Like Heaven, a perfect start to launch the season festival. The single day music fest will happen at Queen Mary Park on Saturday, May 4, 2019, and it features a dream lineup of indie bands. Just check out this list:

Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT, Beach House, Passion Pit, Grizzly Bear, The Rapture, The Faint, Peter Bjorn and John, She Wants Revenge, Tokyo Police Club, Neon Indian, Washed Out, Tennis, Ra Ra Riot,… I see some real nostalgia in this one, as it could be the line up of the defunct FYF fest at least 15 years ago. Not even one hip hop act on view, but when you name your festival after a Cure song, you can’t expect a very 2019 lineup.

This fest for late-millennials will be the inaugural edition of Just Like Heaven in Long Beach, which has become a favorite playground for festivals since Music Tastes Good, Music or One Love Cali Reggae Fest.

Passes went on sale Friday, February 8 at 10 AM, but looking at the number of people complaining in social media, tickets sold out instantaneously leaving many crying on Twitter. Of course, there’s still StubHub, Vividseats, which I am sure, will have plenty of $300 tickets (instead of the first tiers tickets at $99) and Lyte for exchanges. Good luck, it’s a lineup to make you regret time didn’t stop in 2005.
