I’m In Control – Alunageorge, Popcaan – The remix duo made a fortune with DJ Snake two years ago, but this is another minor league pop dance though the sample sounds real bizarre and the reggae verse is pleasant – B

Love Inside – BJ The Chicago Kid, Isabella – Old school r&b by a soul guy who had a good 2015 and should have a better 2016 – B-

Girl Next Door – Brandy Clark – …then go next door”, Brandy as bad ass – C+

‘Till The Sun Goes Back Round – Chris Cornell – This guy is unspeakable, from that Libyan embassy under attack song, this is a big bad song – C-

Somewhere On A Beach – Dierks Bentley – Steals the riff from “Cocaine” for no good reason but the verse is pretty good – B-

White Privilege – Macklemore And Lewis – He should go back to embarrassing his daughter – D

Every Step Every Way – Majid Jordan – Toronto DJ duo seriously miss Drake on this major snoozer – C+

Inner Sanctum – Pet Shop Boys – I used to believe these guys were major but they sucked live and this is an intensely ordinary house dance electronic track – C

The Wheels – PJ Harvey – Not bad mix of chants and song that has trouble fading in any specific position, I bet they love it in the UK – B-

Part One, Hey No Pressure – Ray LaMontagne – Just writing his name puts me to sleep, another blues work out in search of a song – D+

Red, White And You – Steven Tyler – Oh Jesus, really? What is he, ten years old? Dreadful country phoney baloney… sounds like Kid Rock in a bad way, girls in cutoff jeans, Tom Petty on the radio? I’m throwing up in my mouth. Co-written by Nathan Barlowe, Levi Hummon, Jon Vella and Tyler. Wow, can’t wait for the video   – C-
