Post Malone shouts out long gone AC/DC lead singer: Wow.

Trusted You – Alice Glass – Former Crystal Glass lead singer continues her string of atmospheric electronica meets goth songs – B-

Secret (feat. YK Osiris) – Annmarie, YK Osiris Low impact chill r&b – B-

Masters of War – SherGun Remix – Bob Dylan, Drew Sherrod & Strange Daddy – Remixed for that Jack Ryan reboot on Amazon, it makes a scary song more ominous – B

No Teeth – Holy White Hounds – Classic rockers go so old school they sound eccentric on this smart grooved, not unpleasant energy explosion – B

Half Life – Live at R1 Reaktorhallen – Imogen Heap – Riding her music to “Cursed Child,” Imogen drops a live version of a 2009 song, it is a mellow piano ballad about true love and absence without all the backing tracks. Why Not? Why? – B

When The Party’s Over – Kina Grannis – Pretty indie folk – B-

Fuck The Other Side – Kvng Shad, Trippie Redd – Soundcloud rap more than emo or mumble, by which I mean Trippie adds a good verse – B-

Te Borre – Lenier, IAmChino, Veronica Vega – Reggaeton riding a trap beat for all it’s worth.

Just Do It – Lily & Madeleine – Folk duo bland out – C-

MAKE YOU FORGET – Luke Christopher – Heavy duty electronic backdrop to r&b song – C+

Go to Sleep – Madson., Forrest. – Post-Chris Cornell rock as mood that isn’t emo – C+

Nothing Breaks Like a Heart – Dimitri from Paris Remix – Mark Ronson, Miley Cyrus, Dimitri From Paris – I couldn’t take the original power ballad, but this is remix is lighter and faster and works – B

We Never Saw It Coming – Maxwell – Piano mood and experimental, art r&b that I missed the first time round. He has a lovely voice and captures something deep and sad – B

Dont Say Much – Ph4de, Kap G – This is emo rap meets Drake with better lyrics than most and a strong backing track that rattles on unnervingly.  Is this guy popular? – B+

Wow. – Post Malone – An upbeat follow-up to “Congratulation,” Post is on top of this rap-song pop moment and how, it brought the house down at Barclays New Year’s Eve (so did everything else, of course), this is Post cementing his position as a fair enough, easy as she goes, modern rock pop star. He’s like Kid Rock without the southern boogie – SINGLE OF THE WEEK – B+

I Just Want People To Like Me – Robbie Williams – A terrific little rocker from a guy who should be set in his hausfrau pop moment, sounds like Elton in rockin’ mode – B+

Honey – Kim Ann Foxman Remix – Robyn, Kim Ann Foxman – House remix – B

Nobody Knows – Russ – Russ continues his morph into Post for the post-rock-pop, trap beats hip hop mash with a good rap and an addictive tunefulness – B
