Drought (16yrold & KILLY) – 16yrold, KILLY – The popular beat producer goes solo, and the beats are fresh and the autotune ain’t – C+

Alone, Pt. II – Alan Walker, Ava Max – Alan dropped one of 2020’s best songs, and it wasn’t “Are You Lonely” and it certainly isn’t this whony EDM breech  – C-

Okay – Ayelle – indie soulfulness with a whole lotta sad thrown in – B-

Money Play – Burna Boy – After his starring role on the Stormzy album, and starring role on Apple Music’s epic “Africa Now” the African giant ends the use with the surefire reggae tipped new single – B+

Loco Contigo (with J. Balvin & Ozuna feat. Nicky Jam, Natti Natasha, Darell & Sech) – REMIX – DJ Snake – A who’s who of reggaeton, dance vibe via the French DJ – B

Vor hundert Jahren, S. 347 / P2: I. Allegro appassionato – Franz Liszt, Staatskapelle Weimar, Kirill – heavy duty , classical heralding for a minute and a half – B

Ride Like A Pro (feat. Reo Cragun) – Kid Ink, Reo Cragun – Kiss a pussy like a blunt? Really – C

Nothing Like You – Lucas Estrada, Twan Ray – Ho hum indie soul guy goes chill, nice tracking but the song doesn’t cut it – C

2020 – Great Good Fine Ok – electronic r&b white DJ – C

Hold On (feat. Michel Zitron) – Martin Garrix, Matisse & Sadko, Michel Zitron – Garrix is a big time DJ following in Avicii’s footsteps but going nowhere on this typical slab of EDM pop until  the big drop in the middle might make your stomach lurch  – C+

Dec. 21 – Prince Royce – The bachata bore adds beats – C

Mistakes – TheHxliday – Yet more chill r&b – C+

Nobody – The Leonard Simpson Duo, Guilty Simpson, Leonard Charles – The hook is killer from this cross continent duo, the rap is very 90s – B-

Hold You Dear – The Secret Sisters – Folk Americana on piano about friendship and growing older – C+

Hit ’em Up – T-Wayne, Yung Ro – Nice hook via Dallas – B-

Good Thing (with Kehlani) – LIVE – Zedd, Kehlani – Live, acoustic take on their r&b EDM song, Kehlani proves a point, so does Zedd (who is playing drums) – SINGLE OF THE WEEK – B+
