At the Drive In’s Cedric Bixler-Zavala is denouncing Scientology

Cedric Bixler-Zavala, the frontman of At the Drive In, is mad at Scientology, he has been denouncing the evil of this so-called religion for a while, and his rage is currently all over his Instagram page.

When you see Cedric Bixler-Zavala on stage, jumping from high spots, getting basically crazy and furious around his mic, you would have a hard time to believe this guy tried Scientology, it’s hard to believe that this rebellious and raging singer was once taking the ‘Purif’ at Hubbard’s celebrities center. The Purif is a sort of homemade program to detoxify the body and the soul, but you end up sweating for several hours per day in a sauna while injecting a massive amount of vitamins.

Cedric was done with the church a few years later, by 2016, however, Scientology was about to stay in his life. During this period, his wife, Chrissie Carnell, also an ex-Scientologist, revealed him a horrific incident that happened to her: she was rapped anally by her ex-boyfriend, ‘That ‘70s Show’ actor Danny Masterson, a lifelong Scientologist. She later learned other women had been Masterson’s victims, while the church of Scientology had covered up the stories despite women reporting the incident to the church and the LAPD.

When Chrissie went to the police herself, that was the beginning of the couple’s nightmare. ‘every turn we made they knew’ said Cedric. You can read all the details of this terrifying story here. Basically, Scientologists moved next door and constantly spied on them, interfered with their WiFi, phones, and privacy… saying they were harassed would be an understatement. They were followed everywhere, and their dog Ethel ended up dying after suddenly experiencing extreme pain. Their life became a horrific nightmare of paranoia… except that paranoia was real. The Bixlers moved from Austin to LA, but even there, strange and scary accidents continued to happen.

These past 2 days Cedric Bixler-Zavala has been posting about the last tragic one, his dog Biscuit (the 2nd one) died after being poisoned. He posted a photo of his dog and a photo of raw meat mixed with rat poison ‘this is what I’ve been finding in my front and backyard. This is what Scientology does when you speak about the predators they protect.’

Bixler-Zavala posted a few more raging messages on his Instagram page (like the one below), denouncing Scientology’s terrible actions, and probably making an allusion to Beck? There is even one post giving the link of a podcast denouncing Scientology. Cedrix is angry and not afraid, I hope he gets some support, I hope this story blows up because this is revolting and horrifying.
