Drake Texting Female Teenagers?
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the most famous teenager of the moment has revealed something that has made a few people uncomfortable. Billie Eilish (17) effectively said that she has been texting with Drake (33) quite often, and while they haven’t met in person, ‘he’s a homie of hers’.
‘But like Drake, c’mon. Drake. Drake is like the nicest dude I’ve ever spoken to. I mean I’ve only like texted him, but he’s so nice. Like, he does not need to be nice. You know what I mean? He’s at a level of his life where he doesn’t need to be nice, but he is. You know?’
This has made more than a few people react since Billie is still a teenager. Whatever Drake’s excuse, it is a creepy thing to do, especially since it’s not the first time this is happening. Last year, Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown (14) also told in an interview that she and Drake had been texting for a while: ‘I love him,’ she declared, adding that he is ‘a great friend and a great role model’. ‘We just texted each other the other day and he was like ‘I miss you so much,’ and I was like ‘I miss you more,’ he’s great’… again people reacted but nothing happened.
It’s not difficult to find plenty of articles pointing to Drake’s taste for underage girls: For example, this article of the Independent mentioned a clip filmed during a concert and showing the rapper inviting a 17-year-old on stage, dancing with her, kissing her while telling her he ‘liked the way her breasts feel against his chest’. A year ago, Vice also reported about him dating a 18-year-old, not underage true, although the two had reportedly met two years ago, when she was just 16.
This has been going on for a while and it’s easy to see a trend…
I don’t understand why nobody is looking at Drake’s texts sent to Billie Eilish and Millie Bobby Brown. What are the parents doing? We all know that Eilish is singing about rough sex and seducing ‘your dad type’ in one of her last songs, but this is not a good excuse for Drake. It is highly unusual for a grown man to be a teenager’s buddy unless this is part of the grooming.
Why is Drake getting away with all this texting to female teenagers (and even underage dating) when Ryan Adams lost his career after texting a 14-year-old?
